Increased private partnership and allowing schools to function as profit making bodies are two basic recommendations in the mid-year analysis for 2010-11 submitted in the Lok Sabha.
The analysis recommends private partnership as a viable model to enhance investment in the education sector. Moreover, it also recommends raising fees in higher education institutions and allowing schools to do profit making business but under a regulatory mechanism. Recommendation is also there for weaker section students who can get financial grants for pursuing higher education and pay back the same once they start earning.
