OPT facility on F-1 visa for STEM courses extended

Considering the increased career opportunities provided by the optional practical training (OPT) facility, it has been decided that Indian students who have taken up the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines in the United States could avail themselves of an extended OPT period of 29 months.
