The Suburban Excellence: Five Ps in choosing B-Schools in Suburban India

Published On: 23rd December 2009

By Dr. Mohan Agrawal

The latest ranking of the best business schools in the world is out last week. The survey carried out by the London Financial Times tells us about the best business schools in the world. They are currently led by the famous Wharton Business School (USA) and London Business School (UK).

Our own Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad is 15th best business school in the world according to the same survey. It is a great achievement by any standard and I send my sincere congratulations to ISB Hyderabad. The most remarkable point to note here is that ISB Hyderabad is NOT AICTE recognized business school. Many other leading business schools like IIMs also didn’t need AICTE recognition to start or progress. AICTE recognition ensures minimum requirements in a business schools. Excellent business schools need much more than AICTE standards.
