Kapil Sibal bags prestigious Stephen P Duggan Award of US

Union Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal has been chosen for the Stephen P. Duggan Award for Mutual Understanding by New York based Institute of International Education (IIE). Sibal will be honoured by this prestigious US award in recognition of his contribution to global collaboration in education.

Following a green signal from the Central Advisory Board of Education, Union Human Resources Development Minister Kapil Sibal announced introduction of grading system for class X examination in all the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) affiliated schools from the next academic year. However, students who wish to opt for Board exam are welcome to do so.

Even as top brass of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is cooling heals in jail, the apex Central regulatory agency seems to be in for a major admission scam. Many more skeletons are expected to come out of the closet of the AICTE as the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Kapil Sibal, is determined to stem the rot in the deemed universities.
