Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) has now decided to gear up and create brand awareness in India. CFA which is headquartered in US is involved in a case with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the technical education regulatory body, in India.
AICTE has asked CFA Institute to stop their operations in the country but the Delhi High Court has given permission to CFA to register candidates for the exam which will be conducted in June 2010.
Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) by now have come to be recognized as a brand, globally. Behind this brand building goes years of hard work of the professors of these prestigious institutions which ensured the country a pride of place in the field of technical education. They bring laurels for the country and recognition to their students, but are they being given their due? This is the question lingering in many minds in the country today.
