Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced to start psychological counselling for students by way of a tele-helpline, an IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) and its website, as it declared 12 class results for certain regions.
The results of CBSE Class 12 board exam results announced on Friday once again established the oft repeated reality i.e. when it comes to academics girls are second to none. As in the past this time too girls have outdone boys.
The Bombay High Court ordered the best-of-five rule started by the Government for Senior School Certificate (SSC) board exams to be stopped. According to this policy, the percentage marks of students who appeared for the SSC exams would be based on the average of the five highest scoring subjects.
According to a latest directive of the Gujarat High Court, the state government will now have to consider the applications of all the students who have cleared their Class XII examination from schools in Gujarat despite being affiliated to other state boards. The directive has thus opened doors for these students to now apply for the 10,000 posts of Vidhya Sahayaks, vacant in the state education department.
According to Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal, once the Right to Education (RTE) Act is implemented it, will eventually be the end of board examinations for Class X students as their assessment will be done solely by the continuous and comprehensive grade based system.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued fresh guidelines for admissions to Class XI as the Class X board results are out. Since this was for the first time that the newly introduced nine point grading system was used to evaluate the Board examination, the CBSE had to roll out guidelines to schools on the admission procedure to be followed.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally declared the much awaited results of the Class X exam. The results were being awaited not just because of their being the board examination results but also because, this year the Class X examinations were held under the much talked of grading system for the first time.
The Class XII results of the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) are out. More than 1,200 students have scored 95 percent marks or above this year. Like previous years, once again girls outshone the boys. They edged past boys for the 12th year in a row, with a record 9.38 percent lead this time. Girls outpaced boys in the merit list too in the results for Delhi, Guwahati and Allahabad regions - 678 girls got 95 percent marks and above against 524 boys.
The CBSE has declared the Class XII results of the Allahabad, Delhi and Guwahati regions. The results for Panchkula, Ajmer and Chennai regions were declared on May 19.
The Chennai region topped the list of the highest pass percentage with 92.12 percent pass. Goa area topped the list under the Chennai region with 98.23 percent pass.
Students from Goa have done it yet again, with the state topping the Chennai region for the second year consecutively in the Class XII results of the Central Board of Secondary Education. Beating ten states and Union Territories, Goa registered a pass percentage of 98.23; the best in the region.
