NCERT committee for smooth implementation of RTE in Delhi

As part of its efforts to ensure smooth implementation of Right to Education (RTE) Act in Delhi schools, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has appointed an eleven-member committee. The committee will be headed by legal expert Ashok Agarwal who will be its chairperson.

Health education set to get more focus in NCERT school syllabi

MHRD alters age limit to find suitable NCERT head

The Human Resource Development Ministry (MHRD) is finding it hard to find an appropriate and qualified young educationist to lead India’s apex school policy-making agency National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT). In a bid to save itself from embarrassment, the ministry has now relaxed the age limit in its effort to select a new NCERT head.

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has directed the National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) to bring about a particular curriculum to impart training to Afghan school teachers on student- friendly and modern techniques of education to reinforce the education system in Afghanistan.
