Dear Jai, first let me tell you that you have done wonderfully well in your 10th and 12th. 65% in 12th is First Class. Please remember that. In your B.Tech semesters too, you have done very well by scoring 71%. Remember, the selection process for the IIMs is only through Common Admission Test (CAT). The minimum eligibility to appear in CAT is 50% or equivalent in your undergraduate course for general candidates and 45% for those belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category. Final year/semester degree students can also apply provided they submit their final year mark sheets during admission if selected. The admission procedure is not limited to clearing the entrance test. That's just the first hurdle. You will have to appear for group discussion and personal interview. There, your communication and leadership qualities would be tested. For this, you need to be confident and have to believe in your abilities. Think positively and go ahead with your ambitions. Best of luck!
